Evening walk-the Dragon Backbone
During my evening walk, one can see in the horizon, the rugged and long, protruding ridge surrounding the valley of greeneries and houses. And this magical hilly formation is called the Klang Gates Quartz Ridge. Known to be the longest quartz formation in the world, it stretches more than 14km long and 200m wide. From above, the ridge looks like a fin of a sleeping dragon.
Many locals go for morning or evening walks up its Tabur hill. This hill is a popular hiking location. Up there one can see a reservoir / dam. Varieties of birds chirps among the flora and fauna during the tranquil and peaceful walk. Monkeys with their babies swinging up the tree branches. Very often, they come down to the housing areas as well.
